PARIS CHOP-CHOP

Connection flight in Paris.

Directly from South America, this time, I have a short time to have a fast look at the city.

Let´s start the countdown… 6 h to check out the most touristic spot of “la ville lumière”

Just landed at the international airport, i decide to get out as fast i could, get the first train with direction Paris/ Saint Michel-Notre-Dame metroimg_3615

Of course, out of the metro, the first sight goes to the wonderful Cathedral and to the “ile de la cite´” the city island, between the River Seine, where Notre Dame is situated. Only the time to shot some pic and enjoying the architecture and ready for next stop!

During this few hours in the city, I decided to try to walk the most possible, to get the Parisienne life-style, keep eagle eye on the stylish look of Paris people, get inspired of their “Culture culinaire”, feeling the smell of their croissant and baguette from the boulangerie, and the perfume of the elegant women associated to the famous french scents, listening at the soft French music coming through the Boulevard.

The following stop: Louvre square, famous for the Museum and palace, the Mona Lisa ( La Gioconda) and many pieces of art, the Da Vinci Code movie; the pyramids a perfect spot for a shootingimg_3614

Excited for this adventure, I try to focus on the faster way to reach the Eiffel Tower: the most famous monument in France, the most-visited paid monument in the world, and the radio antenna where the Inventor Franz Reichelt died by jumping while testing a parachute :/

My countdown is about to ending; the time to get lost a little more in this fantastic scenery at the “Rue”  almost like in a trailer of the Disney/Pixar Ratatouille Movie.

Paris is always a good idea!

  1. Great way to spend a 6-hour layover, Paris is indeed always a good idea! The art nouveau subway station on the cover photo reminds me of an exact replica we have in Lisbon, offered by the Paris Metro to the city in the 60s. Lisbon would also be awesome for a layover, by the way 🙂
